SHUANGLIN
If a radiator stays cold at the top while the bottom heats up, or a heating system runs noisy and inefficient, trapped air is almost always the cause. SHUANGLIN VALVE's automatic brass air vent valve is built to solve exactly this problem — continuously releasing trapped air from heating, cooling, and hydronic systems without requiring anyone to manually bleed the line.
Inside the valve, a float rises and falls with the water level in the chamber. When air accumulates and displaces water, the float drops, opening the vent to release the trapped air. Once water returns to fill the chamber, the float rises again and reseals the valve — all automatically, with no need to monitor the system. For situations where immediate manual venting is needed, such as during initial system fill or commissioning, the top-mounted bleed screw can be loosened by hand to release air on demand.
SHUANGLIN VALVE produces this air vent valve from DN15 to DN50, in brass construction with a threaded bottom connection and O-ring seal for a secure, leak-free fit into manifolds, radiators, or pipeline high points.
Continuous automatic venting removes the need for scheduled manual bleeding, which is especially valuable in multi-radiator or multi-zone systems where checking every point by hand is impractical. The brass body and internal components are built to withstand sustained exposure to hot water and system pressure without degrading, and the manual bleed screw gives installers a fast way to purge air during commissioning or after maintenance work. Because the valve operates purely on water level and pressure, it requires no external power or controls.
Install vertically, with the valve body upright — the float mechanism only functions correctly in this orientation
Position at the highest point of the system, such as the top of a radiator, manifold, or riser pipe, where air naturally collects
Leave the bleed cap slightly loose during normal operation to allow continuous automatic discharge, unless your system specifies otherwise
During initial fill or after draining and refilling, manually loosen the bleed screw briefly to help clear larger air pockets faster
Residential and commercial central heating systems
Radiators and underfloor heating manifolds
Chilled water and HVAC distribution systems
Solar thermal and boiler systems
Any closed-loop water system where trapped air causes noise, corrosion, or reduced efficiency

SHUANGLIN VALVE backs every air vent valve with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, including free repair or replacement where applicable. OEM/ODM services are available for custom thread types, sizing, and private-label packaging on bulk orders.
How do I know if my heating system has an air problem? Common signs include cold spots at the top of radiators, gurgling or banging noises in the pipes, reduced heating efficiency, or the need to frequently bleed radiators manually. An automatic air vent valve addresses these issues without ongoing manual intervention.
Does the valve need to be checked or maintained regularly? The valve operates automatically and requires minimal maintenance. Periodically checking that the bleed screw hasn't been overtightened, and confirming there's no leakage at the O-ring seal, is generally sufficient.
Can this valve be used on both heating and chilled water systems? Yes, the brass construction and float mechanism are suitable for both hot water heating systems and chilled water/HVAC applications within the valve's rated pressure and temperature range.
What sizes and thread options are available? SHUANGLIN VALVE produces this air vent valve from DN15 to DN50. Contact us with your thread standard and application details for a tailored recommendation.
